September Prayer focus
Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer and a return to the rhythms of work and school. Victims of domestic sex trafficking don’t have any kind of normal rhythm to their life during their time of exploitation. Reintegration into society and finding legitimate legal jobs is complex and multifaceted for the exploited. It can only happen one step at a time. This month our prayers are for the Restorative Care Shelters across the nation (goals-oriented coordinated program of care and case management, in a group living environment, long-term; usually 12 months or longer).
PRAYER POINTS
- Pray for the victims that are still being exploited
- Pray that the survivors currently in programs continue the path of healing
- Pray for shelter staff and volunteers as they walk alongside the survivors
