April is Child Abuse Awareness Month
As we enter this month dedicated to raising awareness about the abuse of children, we come before the Lord with hearts burdened by the suffering of the innocent. Our God sees every tear shed and hears every cry for help. We lift up all children who have endured the pain and trauma of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or sexual.
Prayer Points
- Pray for minors currently in abusive situations . Our Lord is the ultimate source of love and protection, and we trust His mercy and compassion to intervene on their behalf.
- Pray for the minors currently in programs. Pray for strength to overcome the trauma they have experienced and the resilience to rebuild their lives.
- Pray for wisdom, compassion, and patience for the staff and volunteers working with these minors.
- Pray that God provides all the resources needed for shelters to provide qualified compassionate care. Pray that God would provide abundantly for every need, whether it be financial resources, physical supplies, qualified staff, or supportive volunteers.
- Pray for increased awareness and vigilance in our communities to recognize and prevent child abuse.
- Pray for parents, caregivers, educators, and all those who work with children for the knowledge and resources needed to create safe environments where children can thrive.
