The “Encounter” Exhibit

The Samaritan Women has created a powerful immersion exhibit to deepen your awareness of the issue of domestic sex trafficking and engage you as a Modern Day Abolitionist. This walk-thru experience can travel to your church or workplace to engage everyone in learning about this human rights crisis.

Invite your local community to tour the experience. Consider pairing the Exhibit with an educational presentation or documentary screening, and using the Exhibit as a fundraiser to support the work of The Samaritan Women!

The Exhibit includes:

  • Facts and statistics about sex trafficking in America
  • A real-life story of the recruitment of an American teen into the world of exploitation
  • An overview of the work being done by The Samaritan Women Institute for Shelter Care
  • An Action Table with important resources, information, and ways to engage
  • Add your own table or display to engage your members in local advocacy (optional)

Specifications:

  • The Exhibit can be configured to suit your space, however, a minimum footprint of 40’ x 12’ is needed for the full experience
  • Cost: $500 (includes transportation, installation, & tear-down of Exhibit)
  • Reservation: Up to 6 days
  • Transportation: Within a 30 mile radius of our Baltimore campus
    (additional costs may accrue for travel outside of this radius)

Host Site Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Exhibit to your members and surrounding community
  • Provide 2-4 volunteers to assist with set-up & tear-down, serve as guides, and host the Action Table
